BTC Volume Analysis
See whether buyers or sellers are in control with a real-time volume dashboard
BTC Volume Analysis gives you a simple, real-time answer to the most important question in trading: who is in control right now — buyers or sellers?
It displays a compact widget on your chart that breaks down volume into buying and selling pressure, and shows you the result across multiple timeframes.
This indicator works immediately after adding it to your chart. No configuration needed — it automatically selects the best analysis settings for your timeframe.
What It Does
The indicator shows a small dashboard (widget) directly on your chart with clear, color-coded information:
- BUY (green) — Buyers are in control, buying pressure is dominant
- SELL (red) — Sellers are in control, selling pressure is dominant
- NEUTRAL (gray) — Neither side has a clear advantage
What You'll See
The Widget
The on-chart widget shows several sections of useful information:
- Price — The current price with an up or down arrow showing direction
- Buy/Sell Pressure — How much of the current volume is buying vs. selling, shown as percentages
- Signal — The overall verdict: BUY, SELL, or NEUTRAL
- Volume vs Average — Whether current volume is higher or lower than usual (green highlight means unusually high volume — something significant may be happening)
- Net Flow — The raw difference between buy and sell volume
- Multi-Timeframe View — Volume sentiment across up to 4 different timeframes at once, so you can see if the buying/selling pressure is consistent across the board
Color Coding
- Green = Bullish / buying pressure
- Red = Bearish / selling pressure
- Gray = Neutral / balanced
- Volume vs Average highlights: Green when volume is significantly above average, Red when below average
How to Use
Add the indicator to your chart by searching for "Pagani" in TradingView's indicator menu. The widget appears automatically.
Glance at the signal. The main BUY/SELL/NEUTRAL signal gives you an instant read on who's in control.
Check volume vs average. If the "vs Avg" number is highlighted green (above average), there's unusual activity — the signal carries more weight.
Look at multi-timeframe alignment. When multiple timeframes all agree (all showing Bullish or all showing Bearish), it's a stronger signal than just one timeframe.
Use it alongside other indicators. For example, if ICT Order Block Pro shows price at a bullish zone AND BTC Volume Analysis shows BUY with high volume, that's strong confirmation for a long trade.
