BTC Volume Analysis
Real-time buy/sell pressure analysis with multi-timeframe dashboard
Version 2.2 — BTC Volume Analysis provides real-time buy/sell pressure signals with multi-timeframe analysis, intrabar volume flow, and a comprehensive dashboard.
Signals
The indicator generates three signal types:
| Signal | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| BUY | Green | Buying pressure is dominant — bullish bias |
| SELL | Red | Selling pressure is dominant — bearish bias |
| NEUTRAL | Gray | No clear directional pressure |
Each signal includes a power percentage indicating the strength of the current pressure (0–100%).
Net Flow
Net flow measures the balance between buying and selling volume:
- Positive net flow — More buying volume than selling
- Negative net flow — More selling volume than buying
- Near zero — Balanced volume, no clear direction
Multi-Timeframe Dashboard
The on-chart dashboard shows volume analysis across multiple timeframes simultaneously:
- Current timeframe signal and power
- Higher timeframe signals for context
- Net flow direction per timeframe
- Overall confluence reading
Classification Modes
Pressure mode classifies volume based on the intensity of buying vs. selling pressure. It's more responsive and better for shorter timeframes.
Polarity mode classifies volume based on cumulative directional bias. It's smoother and better for identifying longer-term trends.
Intrabar Analysis
The indicator analyzes volume within each candle by examining lower-timeframe data:
- Breaks each candle into sub-intervals for granular analysis
- Identifies whether the candle's volume was dominated by buyers or sellers
- Provides more accurate classification than close-based volume analysis
Auto Lower Timeframe Selection
The indicator automatically selects the optimal lower timeframe for intrabar analysis based on your current chart timeframe:
